On November 24th 2021. a "non-discrimination” worksop was held on Mediterranean Institute for life science . This workshop was also organized as a part of European Regional Development Fund project “Research on the biology of ageing and age-related diseases” funded through EU’s Operational program Competitiveness and cohesion and in cooperation with “Cedra”- the Cluster for Eco-Social Innovation and Development from Split.
Members of NGO “Domine" from Split held the lecture on the workshop. They presented the current situation in the field of gender and gender equality and non-discrimination in Croatia, its existing legal framework, and changes which happened in Croatian legislation in previous year’s regarding this matter. Workshop participants were also informed with European Union’s National Gender equality strategy/ policy, various discrimination forms defined by EU law, followed with Croatian legislature regulating the problems of gender-based inequality as well as with ways to address them.
